Rock and roll, punk and sushi! Sake Haus is a fun spot to get some drinks flowing and some great bites!
To start, I recommend the Omakase Nigiri if that is your style! You get 5 pieces from Bluefin, Yellowtail, and Scallops. As for rolls, we went for the 808, poke atop a sushi roll of cucumber and avocado. The second roll was the Bad & Buri, Probably my favorite roll of the night is the yellowtail rolled with jalapenos and aguachile and topped with a sweet sauce. We also ordered the Shogun, salmon shiso with jalapenos and lemon atop a wasabi aioli. The final roll was the Ronin, which was an eel rolled with cucumber and avocado with umami reduction.
Moreover, I would recommend the Chef Special: The Akuma, seared tuna topped with avo sauce, ginger dressing, wasabi aioli, and roe. Perhaps this was my best dish overall of the night!
In the end, Sake Haus is a cool spot to hangout for some sushi, but their drink selection is tops! I’m pretty sure their owned by Pedal Haus Brewery because of the name; but also being connected next door (hahaha)… Needless to say, it’s a great location to go bar hopping and see some art! Enjoy!
